Indoor cycling sessions that push your limits. Music, rhythm, and results.

The Program

Why Cycle at Terrough?

Indoor cycling has earned its place as one of the most popular group fitness formats in Australia. At Terrough, our Cycle Studio delivers an immersive experience that combines powerful cardio with rhythm-based choreography and expert coaching. Whether you are training for an event or simply want to torch calories in a fun, social setting, our spin classes deliver.

Our studio is equipped with premium bikes that feature adjustable resistance, real-time metrics, and ergonomic design for comfort during longer rides. The room is designed for atmosphere — dimmed lighting, high-quality sound, and a layout that lets every rider feel part of the pack. Instructors lead each session with a curated playlist and cues that guide you through climbs, sprints, and recovery intervals.

No cycling experience is required. Our instructors explain bike setup, resistance control, and riding positions at the start of every class. You control your own intensity — the same class can be a gentle recovery ride for one person and a maximal effort for another. That flexibility makes cycle ideal for mixed-ability groups and ensures you always get a workout that matches your goals.

What to Expect in a Typical Session

  1. Bike Setup (3–5 minutes): The instructor guides you through seat height, handlebar position, and resistance. Proper setup prevents injury and maximises output.
  2. Warm-Up (5 minutes): Easy pedalling to get the legs moving and the heart rate climbing gradually.
  3. Main Ride (40–45 minutes): A mix of seated and standing intervals, climbs, sprints, and recovery. The music drives the energy and the instructor cues resistance changes.
  4. Cool-Down (5 minutes): Gradual reduction in resistance and cadence, followed by a brief stretch off the bike.
