At Terrough, our personal training team holds nationally recognised certifications and brings years of experience across strength, conditioning, weight loss, and athletic performance.

Whether you are new to the gym and want to build confidence, or you are an experienced lifter chasing a specific goal, our trainers meet you where you are. The first session includes a comprehensive assessment — we discuss your history, goals, limitations, and preferences. From there, we design a program that fits your schedule and delivers measurable progress.

Our training spaces are fully equipped with free weights, machines, functional equipment, and dedicated areas for movement prep and recovery. Your trainer will guide you through each exercise with clear cues, ensuring you move safely and effectively. Many of our members combine personal training with group classes — a few one-on-one sessions per month to refine technique and progress, plus regular classes for variety and community.

What to Expect

  1. Initial Consultation: We discuss your goals, experience, injuries, and availability. This conversation shapes your entire program.
  2. Assessment: Movement screening, strength baselines, and body composition (if desired) to establish a starting point.
  3. Program Design: Your trainer creates a custom plan — exercises, sets, reps, and progression — tailored to your goals.
  4. Ongoing Sessions: Regular one-on-one sessions where your trainer coaches, progresses, and adapts your program as you improve.
